  1. Perfect! Happy Halloween. And thanks, you just solved my knitting dilema of the day. You see I am currently working on a pair of Vesper socks and have been contemplaing the heel. I kept thinking that I had to do a short row heel with a contrasting color. I was concerned about keeping the stripes consistant. But yours look great with my old standby, the heel flap. Thanks. I was NOT liking any of the choices in my stash for contrast yarns. Heel flap it is!

  2. Hah! Happy Halloween! Amazing how the stripes worked out just right on the heels. Or was that careful and calculated planning on your part?

  3. NOW you show me where I could have found Halloween colored sock yarn! Although it would be harder to get my hands on a skein of Julia’s yarn than to grab onto a Halloween spook …

  4. These are SO cute, Carole! Definitely perfect for Halloween and Socktoberfest! Your timing is impeccable 😉 Hope you have a good one!!

  5. I have the biggest craving for candy corn right. this. minute.

    The socks are delicious 🙂

  6. You are a hoot!
They also look like “Tony the Tiger” socks (remember him from when we were little kids?)
