Early Thursday morning Dale saw a hummingbird among these flowers in the window box so of course I’ve been standing by with the camera ever since. No sign of the bird, though. You’ll have to settle for a picture of the flowers (tuberose begonias, lobelia and petunias in case you’re wondering) and just imagine the hummingbird is there.
Hooray, it’s the weekend!

Manise Said,
Hope you finally catch your hummingbird with your lens. Pretty colors. My foxglove is blooming and I’m hoping to see mine soon. Have a super weekend!
Beth Said,
I can see the hummingbird vividly in my mind.
The flowers are beautiful and the tuberose begonias are especially nice. I like the red, white, and blue together.
Karen Said,
Beautiful, even without a hummingbird.

So patriotic! And just a lovely windowbox to look upon….hummingbird or no. (He/she doesn’t know what “they” are missing, huh?)

I just started humming “Three Cheers for the Red White & Blue” – very subliminal!
elizabeth Said,
That begonia looks just like a rose! The hummer will come back when your camera is far away, just wait.
Cookie Said,
How lovely.
Sounds like you have another reason to hang out on the deck this weekend, Carole.

Your flowers are lovely! I haven’t seen a humming bird yet this year; we usually have several who visit our yard.

Oooh, so pretty! What’s a tuberose begonia? It looks like a real rose.
