Socktoberfest 2008

November 3, 2008 By Carole

My sock mojo was in full force for this year’s Socktoberfest. I finished 3 pairs of socks this month!

First up, my Trick of Treat Swap Socks. I knit Broadripple socks from Scout’s Swag superwash, color Socktoberfest. They arrived at their destination Friday – just in the nick of time.

You already know I finished my Fallen Leaves socks just in time for Rhinebeck. These are my basic picot edge sock and the yarn is Judy’s. The shoes are new – aren’t they cute?

Finally, I knit the Through the Loops Mystery Socks. It was a bit of a challenge to keep up with the pattern releases each week but I managed to stay on track and finished the pair up last Wednesday. The yarn is Regia Silk and these are a gift for a friend at work.

That’s a lot of socks for just one month. I’m just doing my best to knit down the stash, one pair of socks at a time.

All of the socks are lovely! What sort of shoes are those? The ends of the toes look vaguely Keenish, but the toe box doesn’t look wide enough.

I’m frightfully sorry for the delay.
