Three Seas Cowl

Cowls are all the rage, it seems. I knit this one back in July. I had almost forgotten all about it but when the cold weather rolled around Dale remembered – because he wanted to wear it.

The pattern is the Three Seas Cowl from A Fistful of Stitches. The yarn is my handspun. It’s Icelandic lamb from Frelsi Farm bought at Rhinebeck back in 2007, I think.

It’s pretty soft, being a lamb, and it’s very very warm. Perfect to wear while shoveling snow.

Or just standing around looking handsome.

  1. I KNEW this would be the Year of the Cowl and I even said I was going to make myself a ton of them. I didn’t. Now I’m freezing. Dale is a lucky man!
