I am still sick although I’m feeling a bit stronger today. I’m actually on the couch and after 2 days of staying in bed this is a huge improvement – for my psyche, at least. I haven’t knit a stitch since Sunday but I’m hopeful that today I’ll have the energy to at least hold the knitting in my lap!
Thanks for all your thoughtful get well wishes yesterday. I’m sorry I didn’t respond to each one individually, as I usually do, but I know you all understand.

Donna Said,
You poor thing. Well – it is snowing and crappy outside anyway. Your timing is good?
Feel better! And I hope you get to knit a bit today.
Lisa Said,
Get well soon, Carole. Stay warm, eat soup and take long naps! Don’t sit on the Internets!!
Becky Said,
OH! I’m so sorry that you feel bad! Take care of yourself and snuggle in with warm teas. Hope you feel like knitting some today.
Dinah Said,
Fell better. Just remember that you are in a weaken state and although you can lift knitting needles you are totally incapable of lifting a snow shovel or starting the snow blower. Best, Dinah
Beth Said,
You’re such a trouper to post even when you’re sick! I’m glad you’re feeling at least a little better.
Kathy Said,
I’m telling you, this is a long bug. I still don’t feel back to normal and it’s been a week. But each day will get better! Be well.
Cheryl S. Said,
Glad to hear you’re at least a little better. Hope each day brings big improvements.

Hang in there, Carole, and don’t even think about replying to comments! Stay cozy and rest!!

Suzanne Said,
I hope it passes soon and you feel better.
I’m in CT and we’re getting snow right now. If it heads your way, relax, have some tea and enjoy it. It looks so pretty plus it got me a day off work.
Laurie Said,
Glad it’s easing. No fun.
Cookie Said,
Oh, honey, I am so sorry that you are having such a rough time of it. Thank goodness you’ve got Mason and Dixie to look after you when Dale and Hannah are out doing their thing.
I am so glad that are you feeling a bit better and I hope tomorrow is a much better day for you.
xo
Lucia Said,
I’m glad you’re feeling better, and I hope the trend continues! That picture would improve anyone’s mood, although I’m pretty happy already since at least for us the snowstorm turned into a nostorm. Well, it didn’t miss us entirely: we’ve got at least a tenth of an inch out there. They did say it would still be bad south of the Pike — I hope you’re not buried.
gale (she shoots sheeps shots) Said,
Too sick to knit on the sofa is very sick. I hope you are feeling much much better soon!
judy Said,
Glad to hear that you are improving – good snowy day to stay in and watch good movies!
Ellen Said,
Can’t believe you post even when sick. Don’t rush back to work. You shouldn’t go back until you can knit for at least a half day without being tired Get lots of rest. Feel better soon.
brenda Said,
Feel better! Your photos of flowers are breathtaking. May I have your permission to use one of your tulip photos for my wallpaper?
Hope you are well enough to knit soon!
jill Said,
Amazed to see your post. Keep warm, sleep deeply.
Sue Said,
Get well soon , Carol.
Aim for that ‘sweet spot’ of a sickness: too sick to do chores but well enough to knit and enjoy books/TV.
