Eye Candy Friday

The annuals in my container gardens have been thriving for the last few weeks. They are obviously enjoying the sunny days and cooler temperatures. They won’t last long now, so it’s nice to get some photos while they are looking good.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Most of my annuals have gone by and I’m afraid the forecast this weekend for Ct. will eliminate my mums as well ( 6 to 12 inches of snow Sat. night!). BTW Love the quilt you posted yesterday. Very productive quilt making!

  2. Such a pretty color! We just had a hard freeze. Not many plants can survive that. I hope we have a few more broccoli florets, but that will be it.

  3. Lovely. I love that mine are staging a comeback. Of course the hottest summer in forever didn’t help. Even the marigolds I plant around my tomato and peppers have popped their heads out. I get the giggles every time October comes around and the stores here put out pansies and snapdragons. Growing up in PA, those are NOT winter flowers. 😀

  4. Great color and great photo! Our 8″ of snow overnight on Tuesday and most of thevday Wednesday took care of annuals around here. Thankfully, the trees, still fully green, survived intact. Have a great weekend!

  5. Pretty!

My lavender is trying to bloom again, but I’m not sure that’s going to happen before the weather turns for real.

    Happy Friday!

  6. Sweet little flower! We had a frost, and I pulled in several things inside, but the garden is kaput! Time to sit back and enjoy those fall leaves. Winter is coming!
