Eye Candy Friday

Foxglove from the garden at the Governor’s Palace at Colonial Williamsburg. The flowers there were gorgeous and I could have taken zillions of photographs of them.

This weekend is all about resting, recharging, and relaxing. I hope you get to do the same!

  1. Enjoy your weekend of recoup! Dealing with the laundry, groceries, and putting the house back in order after a trip is a job in itself!

  2. I love foxglove. It grows so well in my old home state of California. In Idaho? It’s only an annual. We were in awe of them when we hit northern California last week. Enjoy your restful weekend.

  3. I bet you got lots of beautiful pictures down there.

My weekend is basically the same as yours. I’m not even going to CT Sheep & Wool tomorrow. It’s the first time I have missed it in years. I just cant’ bear to get in the car again for any length of time.

  4. Oh, gorgeous! Another favorite flower! I have been unsuccessful growing them here, but we had the most beautiful crop at our home in Oregon. And rhodies. I miss those. But I couldn’t grow lilacs there. Anywayyyyyy, have a great weekend, Carole!!

  5. the foxglove are lovely. I don’t remember seeing them here and don’t know if they grow in this climate or not. have a great weekend!

  6. That is a GORGEOUS picture! Makes me want to run out and try to grow some of my own! 🙂

  7. My brain briefly tried to put the picture in my image of Mass weather today and just couldn’t do it. Then I read the rest of it and just thought how nice it must be to have lots of flowers growing so early in the year!

  8. eye candy indeed! (and I now know what foxglove looks like!) 5 mile training walk this morning, but this afternoon is knitting with my sister and sister-in-law…that should be relaxing and entertaining!
