in a word: charming
This picture touched my heart. One Christmas my sister and I got ice skates (used) and spent the rest of the winter spending every spare moment on the ice. Your image captures the romance of skating and christmas perfectly
I spent many, many hours on my ice skates growing up, and even went on ice skating dates with my (now) husband. I received a new pair from him the first or second year we were married and wore them a lot as we taught our sons to skate. However, since my knee replacement, my skating days are over. This would be a good way to use that old pair – in a seasonal decoration!
So beautiful! ahhhh New England.
