Beautiful photo – and ditto to “Jo.” I watched something on PBS last night about the Constitution. The narrator told an old Yiddish joke. A congregation is arguing terribly about whether to stand up during services to show respect to God, or to sit down to show humility. The elders ask the oldest member how this question was handled in the past, what does tradition say? He answers, “The tradition is that we always argue.”
