Weekending, With Easter

Did you have a good weekend? I did, and it included everything I hoped it would. There was a fun day of shopping with Dale, a quick stop in Plymouth, a couple of great evenings at home hanging out, and a wonderful Easter day with our family. I have pictures. Wanna see?

Plymouth Harbor on Friday afternoon. Cloudy skies, a little rainy and definitely chilly but still – the ocean makes me happy.

Easter Brunch mimosas. The ratio of orange juice to champagne definitely changes as the day goes on.

My first ever lemon meringue pie. It was delicious and reminded me of my mom’s.

The family at Easter Brunch. We had a great day together feasting & laughing. They are a wacky bunch and I’m so glad they are mine.

When I come to visit may I request a lemon meringue pie? It’s my favorite and yours looks amazing!

  3. Delightful! What a perfect weekend . . . and That Pie! Oh, Carole. YUM! Best of all (besides no snow in that first photo) — your fabulous family photo. XO

  4. You get all the best out of the week end! Mmmm…mimosas…sounds so delicious. Your pie is beautiful (confession, I don’t like lemon meringue pie, but they do look gorgeous). Being near the ocean…wonderful!

  5. Love a good local sushi joint. Mine’s only 2 blocks away. I have to be good & not go too often.
