Wednesdays Are For Knitting

There is knitting going on in these parts.

I can’t really show it to you, though.

There is a pair of socks that are a birthday present. The birthday has come and gone but still, I persist and they will be gifted when I am finished.

There is another pair of socks and they are also a birthday present. This birthday is still a few months away so I should be finished in plenty of time. Of course, that means I can’t show you these either.

There is a shawl. It’s a mystery shawl, however, and I don’t want to spoil it for anyone so I’m not comfortable posting a progress photo.

What’s a knitter to do when faced with a situation like this?

  4. Your cocktail photo is a perfect substitute for knitting that you can’t show, in fact, maybe you should try to enjoy lots of cocktails so you always have a backlog of photos to choose from!

  8. This may seem like a silly question, but how do you figure out the size of socks that are gifts?
