Eye Candy Friday

May 20, 2016 By Carole

lilacs for carole knits

Pretty, pretty lilacs in my yard. Believe it or not they are already fading but I managed to capture this photo right before they peaked. I actually love them when they aren’t completely in bloom.

It’s FriYay! Have a great weekend, friends!

Beautiful photo, Carole! Sadly, my lilacs were a frost casualty, so this photo makes me very happy! I can almost smell them! Have a fantastic weekend!

I love the tonal shades of purple in the blooms (and am now imagining how beautiful yarn would be if it could be dyed with these colors)! Happy weekend!

Our lilacs are long gone. They remind me of my grandmother as she had a huge row of lilac and snowball bushes that bloomed every May. Thank you for posting such a beautiful picture!

Beautiful! I love the smell of lilacs but my husband finds them too strong for inside so I have a bouquet on the deck. Happy weekend!

Gorgeous! And it looks like ours made it this year and should be popping out any day. I can’t wait! Have a wonderful weekend Carole!!!
