Three On Thursday

September 14, 2017 By Carole

Kat and I decided to take a leap and chance Think Write Thursday to Three on Thursday. We’re hoping that this easy format will appeal to a broader range of bloggers and encourage more participation. We’re also hoping that those of you who enjoyed Think Write Thursday will stick with us and join in on this new concept.

This week, I’m going to share the 3 things I want to knit now that I’ve finished the epic baby blanket.

  1. The Islington Shawl. I’ve been working on this since last winter and I’m *this*close* to being finished. Shawl season is just about upon us so I’m extra motivated to get it done.
  2. Hannah’s birthday socks. Yes, her birthday was 11 days ago. Hand knit socks are worth waiting for, though.
  3. The Hungry Caterpillar Baby Cocoon and Hat. A baby born in early October is going to need something for Halloween, amIright?

And there you have it! Three things!

If you wrote a post for Three on Thursday we hope you will share it by adding a link below.

As a claustrophob, I can’t get down with the Hungry Catepillar. The hand knit socks are good any time and a new shawl to keep the chill away–booyah!

Love your three projects. Can’t wait to see the Hungry Caterpillar knit up. So cute! I’m itching to cast on a Free Your Fade, maybe this weekend.

If there’s one thing the pandemic has been good If there’s one thing the pandemic has been good for, it’s my sourdough game. I actually started learning about making sourdough bread a week before the stay at home orders thanks to @sprboston as he shared his starter and recipe and technique with me. Since then I have kept Mama Cass fed and alive and have baked many loaves of bread. This one might be my best one yet. I did the final proof in the fridge for 24 hours and baked it from its cold state.
