Eye Candy Friday

At the same time that we got that beautiful dish garden of white flowering bulbs from Kim, we also got a huge basket of paperwhite bulbs from Kym. (Yes, they discussed this with each other.) The white flowering bulbs are in full bloom right now but the paperwhites have been a little slower to get going. The other day, much to my delight, I found this sweet little blossom.

It was tucked in among the greens and it made me smile and think how lucky I am to have friends who care for me, friends who show up when I least expect them, friends who surprise me, friends who may not be visible in my daily life but are always there to cheer me up. I’m truly fortunate.

And we’re all fortunate that it’s the weekend! And the last day of January! Hooray!

  1. How thoughtful to coordinate for extended reminders of their concern for you.

    And January? Buh-bye!

  2. Carole, unfortunately it was tragedy that brought me to your blog but I just have to tell you that I look forward to your posts EVERY single day. They just start my day off in such an uplifting way. I appreciate it so much. Much the same way that Dale brightens Kayleigh’s morning on the bus promptly at 7:40 ish and ours with such a friendly wave every morning! 🙂 I can’t thank you both enough for being such bright lights in our small little community of EB. So from my family to yours, thank you, thank you both for being you. For being such pillars and people to admire. Thank you.

    Cheers~

  4. That’s the thing about flowers-they have a way of peeking out and making things a little better.

  5. We both were thinking of you and Dale with love and concern. I’m happy we were able to bring a little beauty in during a sad time.

    xoxo!
