Election Day 2020

I’ve thought and thought and I’ve got nothing to give you today except this:

And wake me when it’s over.

  1. Be calm and have good faith. In spite of the last four years, even a cynic like myself believes the majority of us are innately good and have had enough. I plan to spend time today proving just that. Sneak attack baked goods are being planned.

  2. I know it’s going to be a long day/week/month(?), but I am taking comfort in the fact that at least there is no more waiting. Deep breaths!

  3. That’s all I can think about as well! While I am working my list for day, ironing, groceries, laundry, I just keep thinking about 2016. HELP! You would think that staying busy would help, but not as much as I’d like. I will just have to cope and stay busy like everybody else. Think good thoughts!

  4. Not even sure I want to be woke up when it’s “over”. Hopefully my stress won’t manifest during fencing tonight-those boys might not know what “hit” them!

  5. Your comment, “wake me when it’s over,” makes me smile because it is so true. It’s going to be a wild night tonight and a nail-biting next few days. I’m knitting and walking and knitting some more.
