Eye Candy Friday

We’ve had quite a bit of rain lately (my apologies for those of you dealing with drought right now) and I must say the flowers are thriving because of it. This shot is from inside my living room, looking out over the window boxes. It’s a great view for when I’m sitting inside (because rain) and knitting Hannah’s sweater.

That’s where you’ll find me this weekend! I hope you’re doing something equally enjoyable.

  1. I’m glad that you have a lovely view for knitting the wedding sweater, and that Mother Nature is providing the perfect conditions to get it done!

  2. I was thankful for that rain yesterday as well (and it looks like we will get a bit more today too!) Nothing beats a nice summer rain! Have a great weekend!

  3. Beautiful Carole! Looks like you’ll have plenty of time to knit today. Have a wonderful weekend.

  4. We seem to be feast or famine in the rain department this year. Last week we got over 1″ in an hour (highly unusual), this week we’re in the hundreds and it’s barely possible to water the flowers enough. Wishing you a productive knitting weekend!

  5. We’ve had a lot of rain as well, and it seems to only come in heavy downpours lately. Once the yarn isn’t flooded, it’s good for the plants!

  6. playing catch up and not wanting to leave a bunch of comments in your inbox … and then I couldn’t resist this one because the two geraniums on our front porch got a major haircut this morning, thanks to the deer … yours are lovely! I hope they inspired lots of knitting (sleeves)!!!

  7. I have a container that has these exact flowers [and colors] so cheerful on a rainy day.
