Eye Candy Friday

I have crocus! Seeing these little yellow flowers (with daffodil shoots behind them!) in my garden yesterday gave me . . . wait for it . . . another jolt of joy! Maybe that will be a new theme for Eye Candy Friday going forward. Hmmmm.

Happy Weekend, friends. May the start of Daylight Saving Time be kind to all of us.

  1. I’m glad for the crocus, but not so much for the time change or the snow tomorrow. I’ll be on the lookout for some extra joy to even things out!

  2. My snow drops are such brave little soldiers, they survived the blanket of heavy, wet snow this week! (and yay for Jolt’s of Joy!)

  3. Just what I needed to see this morning to bring that jolt-of-joy! (I woke up to 19F and SNOW.) I love crocus! (Unfortunately, so do the critters in my garden. Last year, they dug up every.single.bulb. I’ll have to enjoy yours instead of my own.)

  4. I’ve spotted some blooming in my neighborhood the past week and they’ve made me so happy! It’s a shame they’re about to be covered in 3-6 inches of snow, but such is March in the Northeast.

    Happy weekend!

  5. Thank you for sharing your jolts of joy, Carole. They are really important in these times. Happy Weekend.

  6. I’m surprised my MIL never planted any crocus. Our daffodils have started to bloom but I’m worried abut them tonight. What was supposed to be an hour of snow flurries turned into an all day event and an inch or two stuck to the ground. (The ground was warm because it was in the 80’s just a few days ago!) And tonight, the temperature has dropped into the teens and the wind is blowing a gale. Hope those flowers survive!
