My favorite roadside flower stand is loaded with daffodil bouquets and of course I stopped and got one on the way home from work yesterday. It’s a rainy morning here and these are a jolt of sunshine on my table.
Happy Weekend, friends!

I could use a jolt of sunshine today . . . where it’s raining again (with some chunks of “spring snow” thrown in for good measure). Maybe I’ll go in search of some store daffodils today! (Tulips would do the trick, too.) XO
I think we all could use a good jolt of sunshine! Kym has an excellent idea… I will pick up a bunch or two at Trader Joe’s this morning!
Happy Weekend!
I love daffodils, but the pollen from them drives me insane. I can only admire them for a few minutes before they have to go to the porch. Lovely photo, Carole.
It’s finally clear here today after three days of flooding rain. I’m going to get pansies and whatever other flowers strike my fancy today before it starts raining again tonight. Enjoy your lovely jolt of sunshine!
Thanks for that dose of sunshine yellow! It’s been gloomy here all week and I needed that color. Happy weekend!
Daffodils are amazing, aren’t they? And such a welcome sight after the long days of winter.
