I had a great birthday and, because it’s Thursday, I’m sharing my thoughts in 3 bullet points.
- I started the day by wearing my favorite dress, making a TikTok about my birthday, and driving to work listening to September by Earth Wind & Fire plus Trip Around the Sun by Jimmy Buffett & Martina McBride.
- I got to eat my favorite foods, Mexican for lunch and pizza for dinner. The kids came over and Hannah brought me a sprinkle cake and it was fun.
- I was showered with birthday wishes from all of you plus my family and friends, near and far. Plus an awesome handmade birthday card from Jackie! It made me feel very special and it’s really fun to hear from people I have connected with over the years – and see some of them connect with each other, too.
And now it’s onward to year 58!
I’ll be taking a couple of days off from blogging to celebrate the arrival of autumn with a mini camping trip. I’ll be back on Tuesday with the next Read With Us book announcement!
