Tuesdays feel like the black hole of blogging as I often find myself without an idea for a post. Yesterday, though, I had a thought and I’m now turning that thought into a new series that I will post on . . . you guessed it . . . Tuesdays. Each week I will recommend something to you. Maybe it will be something to purchase, maybe it will be free. Maybe it will be a recipe or something whimsical. Hopefully it will be something you find interesting and, ideally, it will be something that will make your life a little bit better. Add a little joy, if you will. Also, because every blog post needs a photo, I will include one and it may or may not be related to the subject of the post.

Today I’m recommending The Everygirl Tech Backgrounds. These are free, downloadable background photos that drop each month. They are themed, can be downloaded with or without a calendar, and are sized for your desktop/laptop, iPhone, iPad or tablet, or your second screen. I’ve been using them for years and it’s a fun way to add a seasonal flair to my devices. The November backgrounds should be coming out any day now, so if you want to give this a try the timing is perfect.
