This is not my typical selfie. I took it yesterday when I finished meditating and I’m sharing it with you today as a reminder to slow down and breathe. It’s a hectic time of year and taking care of ourselves should always come first but so often does not. If you can sit still and just breathe every morning – even if it’s only for 5 minutes – it will set an entirely different tone to your day.
Try it. Don’t worry if your mind wanders. Don’t worry if you feel fidgety. Don’t worry if 5 minutes feels like 5 hours. Just sit. Just breathe.
