Funny, as I’m reading this, they’re reporting the worst excuses for being late to work on the local news. The best one, in my opinion, was “There’s a bear digging through my garbage can and I’m afraid to go outside.”

I often think that when I go grocery shopping. No parking spots, I guess I don’t have to buy groceries. Of course, none of those rationalizations ever work, but they do give us a split second of joy before we come back to reality. I hope you are having a really good weekend, Carole. I am making turkey stock a la Carole as we speak.
Oh, if only I could really use that!
