Weekending, September 11th-13th, 2026

We now return to our regular Monday programming, where I recap (mostly in photos) my weekend.

I actually stayed at the camper by myself all week. I went to work from the campground (it’s the same amount of time as going from home) and I did go home for a few hours mid week to get a few things but otherwise I stayed put by the canal. With Fred and George, of course. This was my dinner most nights.

And this was dinner Friday night. I will never say no to a hot dog cooked over a campfire. Especially when it’s followed by a s’mores for dessert. No photo so you’ll have to trust me on that.

There was plenty of time for sitting by the canal, watching the boat traffic.

And even a bike ride along the canal. Our campsite is looking pretty great in this photo but you should have seen it Sunday afternoon with all of the rain coming down. There were lots of puddles.

A trip out for lunch on Saturday.
