Oh, so THAT’s what evening primrose looks like. So many plants exist in my vocabulary but not in my visual memory, especially if they don’t grow here (southern Louisiana). Love the picture!
Is *that* what those things are. We used to have a bunch, but just one lonely one bloomed this year. Maybe if I get rid of the pesky ground cover that’s taking over they’ll come back.

Oh! What a sweet surprise that they’re yellow! “Ours” in Texas (even though I’m not there any more thank goodness) are a lovely soft pink color!
