The prompt for the month of March over at Ali Edwards was to choose something…
Watercolor Wednesday 29/30
I was at work late last night, attending a selectmen’s meeting, and I snapped a photo of the town gazebo as I was walking back to the library. I posted it on Instagram and it looked pretty, all lit up for Christmas. I decided it would look even prettier as a watercolor, though, so I used my Waterlogue app to convert it.
And wa-la, a post was born.

You were right on both counts. Nice photo, but I suspect the watercolor brings out more of the feel of the scene. The watercolor feels a little more magical. Thanks!
Simply lovely, and maybe a nice reward for working late!
Thanks Carole! Beautiful.
So pretty! One of the things I love about New England towns – the parks with gazebos. We don’t have that down here in PA.
Very pretty and a good choice for watercolor creation!
The gazebo puts us in the holiday spirit. Nice idea to use the Waterlogue app!
I love it! And I love the app, so thank you for introducing me to it! 😉
It’s just charming! XO
You must live in a very charming place, Carole. Thanks for sharing this.
Beautiful image and I imagine that place is a wonderful place to stop and appreciate the simple beauty! Thanks for sharing!
I love gazebos especially when they have twinkle lights.
Waterlogue does a GREAT job with twinkle lights!
