Let us not underestimate the simple beauty of the marigold. It’s a workhorse of a flower and I love its bright orange color.
Let us also not underestimate the beauty of the weekend! Have a great one!

Marigolds are indeed tough little flowers, and I think I see some nasturtiums in there also. Happy Weekend to you!
Marigolds were my favorite flower in the yard after lilacs. Mom said they were by the door because they kept bugs away.
Very pretty! Enjoy the weekend and Happy Anniversary!!
I too, love marigolds! (and weekends!) XOXO
Marigolds always remind me of my childhood! I use them every year in my herb garden. So cheerful and happy — and such a workhorse. Have a great weekend! XO
Marigolds are the hardy soldiers to make a lovely flower garden. Happy weekend!
Marigolds are my favorite flowers. I really hope they will grow here. Have a great weekend!
I used to not like marigolds (because I think I didn’t care for their smell as a child), but now I love them. We have a border of them planted around our tomato plants, and I think we’re going to try some natural dyeing with them later in the summer!
Great photo! And a wonderful weekend to you, Carole.
I love marigolds and I’m soooo behind in getting some summer flowers into our containers. Maybe next week- maybe!

Amen and three cheers for the marigolds. They do double duty in the garden by adding a bit of color and deter insects when paired with vegetables.
