Eye Candy Friday

The blog appears to be fixed. Fingers crossed.

I know we’re doing the whole daily dahlia thing but I feel like Eye Candy Friday should be a bouquet and this is the current once that’s gracing the sideboard in my kitchen. Still lots of pinks and mauves but the other varieties are coming along and I should have yellow very soon.

And yellow makes me think of Coldplay and Coldplay makes me think of that couple who got busted on the kiss cam at their concert in Massachusetts a couple of weeks ago. Y’all saw that, right?

Anyway, have a good weekend and don’t take someone who isn’t your partner to a concert. Ha!

  1. This is a perfectly composed bouquet with lovely mauves, pink and yellow to complement, white to highlight, all in a classic white vase. Beautiful!

  2. Yeah, that was such arrogance! Who goes to a concert as part of an affair? Your dahlias are so lovely that I can’t decide which ones I like best. Have a great weekend, Carole.

  3. I love seeing your dahlias, as single blooms or bouquets, so thanks for brightening my day with this one. And would you believe I missed the whole Coldplay thing and had to have my teenager explain it to me? Sheesh, that made me feel old.

  4. I was happy that I could see yesterday’s dahlia… I just wasn’t able to tell you about it. Glad the blog is back to 100%!

Love the bouquet! Such bounty. 😉

  5. Stunning! (and that uber stupid CEO is suing Cold Play… so much fail! I hope the judge laughs him out of the courtroom!)

  6. Love the dahlia’s! It still amazes me that someone would cheat and go out in public with thousands of people and think that they may not run into someone who knows who they are. Let alone end up on the jumbotron and then freak out when it flashes to them.

  7. Gorgeous bouquet! And, like Sarah, I missed the whole Coldplay thing (which is ok with me). Glad your blog is fixed! I am not wishing summer away, but I am thankful for cooler temps and less humidity for sure. Have a fabulous weekend!
