I went to Trader Joe’s last week and treated myself to this lovely bunch of tulips. If I can’t find spring outside, I can still bring it inside!
Have a great weekend, friends!

Dale got me a lovely bouquet of flowers for Valentine’s Day. It was totally unnecessary. And also totally thoughtful. I truly love having fresh flowers in my house, especially in the winter time.
I know there have still been issues with the blog loading slowly and I’m hoping my IT guy can do some work on things next week. I’ll be taking the week off to do some fun things with Dale and the kids. Hopefully when I’m back on the 27th I’ll have fun stories and a fully functioning blog!

I bought a bouquet of white tulips last week to honor Imbolc and celebrate the fact that we are at the halfway point between the winter solstice and spring equinox. What a glorious thing it is that each day brings us not only more light but also one step closer to spring!
Which is not to say we should wish this time away because every season has it’s value. And nothing is more valuable than the weekend! Make it a good one!

A thoughtful friend brought me this pretty glass jar full of sweet mini carnations last week. I love how simple and lovely it is.
And now it’s the weekend, and it’s a long one, too. I’m sure ready! I’ll catch you back in this space on Tuesday, friends.
