I’m still coughing and we’re ALL tired of it! The other day Dale brought me these flowers and said he wished I’d “get better . . . or something.” Hahaha. Good thing I know he loves me.

Still winter here in New England. BUT the Oscars are this weekend and that makes me so happy!

I forgot to post on Friday! I guess I was so busy packing and getting ready for SPA that it completely slipped my mind. It works out to my advantage, though, because I can use the picture I planned to use today and I get another day or two to process photos and memories before I talk about SPA.

So there.

So my pneumonia has now been confirmed with a chest x-ray. My meds have been changed and new meds = feeling better, right? I’ll be in the pink again (just like this tulip) very soon, I’m told.

I tend to photograph tulips and roses and daisies – all the showcase flowers. I’ve never photographed the lowly baby’s breath before. And you know what? It’s kind of tricky. But very pretty with all the green and white and fuzzy petals and buds.

I’m not sure what to expect of the weekend. I was sure I’d feel all better by now and I just don’t. It’s frustrating but I’m going to have to just slow down and listen to my body.

In the meantime, I wish all of you a happy weekend and a Happy Valentine’s Day!

Remember that yarn crawl from a couple of weeks ago? Turns out I won the door prize at The Wool Basket that day. It’s a fabulous skein of Schaefer Nichole. Yummy.

I told you things would be more colorful this week.  And nothing is more colorful than a sunset on a beach in Florida. The temp was about 70°. Ahhh.

The problem with photos this time of year is a lack of color. We can get texture and pattern but the colors are pretty much limited to browns and greys with the occasional green. I’m going to do my best to change this next week, though.

Anyway, this pretty little basket is full of pretty little skeins of Vesper Sock yarn. Hopefully this weekend they will start to be transformed into pretty little Chevron Love Mittens.
