Eye Candy Friday

This dahlia is called Totally Tangerine and it’s a new variety for me this year. It’s pretty prolific and I love the shape and color of the flowers. It’s not great for cutting, though, as it’s more of a bush and the stems of the flowers are on the short side and not straight. If I’m able to get tubers from this one I think I will plant it in my foundation border garden rather than in the dahlia beds next year.
It’s good to think ahead and I’m definitely thinking ahead to the weekend! I hope it’s a good one for all of us.

How pretty and unusual! It looks almost like it’s a mutant dahlia – lol. I think it would be gorgeous in a border bed. Happy Weekend!!
Delightful Carole! I think planning for a good weekend sounds like the exact amount of planning I want to do right now! XO
It may not be ideal for cutting but it is a beautiful color. Happy Weekend!
It’s beautiful. I am sure you will find the right place for it.
So pretty! The color makes me think a bit of rainbow sherbet (well, the part that’s pink and orange, anyway).
