Eye Candy Friday
It’s been raining here for two days (a very good thing!) but the sun came out this morning, not just in the sky but in my garden. This is La Luna and it’s a dinner plate variety. And that’s not joke, this blossom is as big as my face. It’s stunning in person and I hope I captured it for you.
And I hope your weekend is as big and bright and beautiful as a La Luna dahlia!

No rain in weeks here either, but plenty on tap. Raining now, and for the foreseeable future (with perhaps some TS action next week). We’re heading to Alison Krause et al, at an amphitheater that is only partially covered, but are still excited to see them!

While I didn’t enjoy getting wet on the way to/from Rosh Hashanah services this week, the rain we got was so welcome! And all my impatiens are blooming again, so they were happy about it, too. Of course, I don’t have any flowers that are quite as impressive as this gorgeous dahlia!
