Taking my cue from Kym this week, here are 3 simple things that are making…
Three On Thursday

Today I am taking a modified approach to 3 on Thursday. It’s 3 things, but it’s 3 things all sort of lumped together.
Allow me to explain.
The full moon in Taurus this month has a strong connection to earthly things and it’s energy encourages us to release what no longer serves our sense of security and stability. It’s the perfect time to let go of material possessions that no longer bring fulfillment.
Remember last week? And the storage container full of high heels? It’s time to sort through them and let them go. And, in the spirit of 3 things, I’m also going to tackle my closet floor, which is a jumble of shoes and tote bags, and my t-shirt drawers, which are over stuffed and contain more than a few shirts that I don’t wear anymore. Wish me luck!
I’ll report back.

This is exciting! I always think it’s easier once you get into the “let it go” frame of mind, so I’m looking forward to hearing about all the stuff you’ve freed yourself from.
Oh Dear! I need to do ALL of this! And then probably some more. But I can put it off for at least another day since I’m going over to be with Iris today! Looking forward to your success story…
Go, Carole, go! Just think how those t-shirts can be an extra warm, soft layer for someone struggling with their heat bill.
It is absolutely so freeing to clear out and make space. Why are closets such disaster zones? Mine easily slides into the chaotic void! Good luck!
This is one of those things that always makes me feel good! Less stuff means less time spent on that stuff and more time for you. Have fun with it.
Thanks for the reminder! I let go of my heels a long time ago (stupid knee). I have a pile of handbags and totes to go through. I have a pile of clothes ready to go to Savers this weekend.
Oh, good for you, Carole! I’m happy you’re taking the “let it go” plunge — and I hope you feel good about it when you’re finished! You GO!!!!!
I am always pleasantly surprised by how much lighter I feel after letting things go. I tackled some bins in the garage yesterday and it felt good to clear some space.
Good luck! I’ve been clearing out shoes the past year. I developed arthritis in my knees and if I wear a pair for a certain amount of time out and about and have very sore knees the next day, they get donated. I plan this winter to go through the many bucket so yarn and plan to donate a bunch of that next spring.
You may be done by now (for some reason, your posts always take a full day to show up in my feed), but if it’s still in progress, I hope your clean-out goes well. I’m sure you will feel lighter when you’ve cleared out clothes you don’t need and organized everything so that there’s more space!
