Moment of truth: I never left my house all weekend. Yep from the time I…
Three On Thursday, with gratitude

Of course I can’t resist writing about 3 things I’m grateful for on Thanksgiving. But I’m not going to talk about the big stuff like my health, family, and home. Instead, it’s the little things I want to mention. The things that might go unnoticed but actually make my life more meaningful. Things like . . .
The big hawk I saw in the tree by the field down the street from my house.
And the way my house smelled last week when I was making the turkey stock for gravy. Or yesterday when I was baking all the pies.
Also the satisfaction and comfort of getting into a freshly made bed and pulling up the covers.
This list could go on and on and I hope yours could, too.

So many things to be grateful for if we just pay attention. I can really get behind a freshly made bed. If I was rich, I would have someone put clean sheets on my bed every night! I am also very grateful for this blog community that keeps me in touch with people I would not otherwise know IRL.
Yes, so many, many things to be thankful for – including bloggy friendships! There are often two hawks sitting in a tall tree in Colin’s backyard – love seeing them. Happy Thanksgiving!
Lots of gratitude to go around, not just today but every day! I’m grateful for the piece of pie that’s waiting for me later tonight and getting into my bed with extra-soft flannel sheets tonight. I can hardly wait!
I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving!!
Yesterday, in addition to all the big things, I was thankful for hot coffee and a hot shower after a cold turkey trot, a warm puppy to snuggle with (when she needed a break from all the people), and being able to watch a funny show with my husband after all the cooking and cleaning was wrapped up for the night.
