Three On Thursday

We should just assume randomness unless I say otherwise . . .

  1. We are going to Connecticut on Saturday to do the walk through on our camper. You might think this should have happened by now and you wouldn’t be wrong to think that. But, between the 3 feet of snow we got (which made it impossible not only to get our current camper out of the driveway but equally impossible to even think about coming down our narrow dead end road with a truck and camper) and the available appointments at the dealer, it has taken this long. We have an appointment for delivery scheduled at the end of next week so keep your fingers crossed that all goes according to plan.
  2. The bird feeder at my studio window is providing endless entertainment for me and also for Fred and George. The birds, with the exception of the finches, have figured out that the cats are not a threat and they calmly sit on the feeder even as Fred and/or George bat at the glass. I love seeing the birds up close like this and I get a big kick out of watching the cats, too.
  3. We finished watching Season 4 of The Morning Show last night. And it was quite good, perhaps the best season since the first one. It’s on Apple, so it does require a subscription, but if you haven’t watched it I do recommend it.

Have a good Thursday!

  1. Wishing you all the best with the new camper! I have a bird feeder outside my office window and we have a shelf at that window for Mabel. She loves watching the birds. Last year we had a feeder attached to the window…but Mr. Squirrel destroyed it! Thanks for the rec on The Morning Show. I wish the new season of Ted Lasso would hurry up…meanwhile, we are watching Shrinking.

  2. I am so excited for your new camper!! I have a bird feeder outside my window as well… it is the greatest delight! I imagine that Fred and George are as enthralled as we are! I have not yet watched The Morning Show… but thank you so much for the recommendation! Happy Thursday my friend! XO

  3. I had feeders outside my windows, and the birds kept crashing into the window, especially when the hawks were around. I really enjoyed seeing them that close, but it seemed a hazard to them, so I moved my feeders about 12 feet away into the yard. I confess I watched The Morning Show season as soon as all episodes were available. I am not patient enough to watch an episode a week. 😉

  4. I’m glad you can provide food for the birds and entertainment for everyone in the house! I’ve had my window feeder for a couple of years now and the birds are getting used to my movement inside. Oftentimes they just look up from the seed for a moment and keep on eating. I wish you all the best with this new camper. Maybe you’ll give us a tour someday!
