Thank you! I grew up in the Midwest, and although bayberry was part of Christmas lore, I had never seen it.
So fragrant? I’ve never seen one and I’d love to smell it, too.
Beautiful picture, Carole! That would make a nice winter greeting card…
Can you believe I’ve never seen bayberry before today? Pretty!
Lovely!
Oh I love the smell of bayberries! Do you have those in your yard?
These are gorgeous. I’ve never actually seen bayberries, though I’m familiar with the scent.
That’s very pretty. 🙂
I love the scent of bayberry, but have never seen it in nature. They look like weird blueberries, thanks for the photo! Do you have one that shows the entire plant? To satisfy the naturalists among your avid readers. 😉
What a great picture! I was thinking what Jean said. You should make cards from your photos.
I can smell it!
Gorgeous!
Beautiful! I’ve heard of it, but never seen it either – thanks.
Gorgeous! I wish we had those around here!
Now that’s beautiful!! Have a wonderful weekend!
How cool – I never knew what it looked like…
that’s my first time ever seeing bayberry too, oddly enough. there’s all kinds of bayberry smelling things around. the plant, not so much.
That’s so pretty!

Beautiful photography! I’ve never lived anywhere that has bayberry but can just ‘imagine’ what they smell like!
So that’s what a bayberry looks like in the wild. I’ve only smelled the bayberry scented candles.
Very cool…..I had no idea what a bayberry looked like 🙂
That’s a gorgeous picture Carole.
