I have a few new dahlia varieties this year and this Crème de Cassis is…
Eye Candy Friday
The tiger lilies are in bloom. Yay! Do you know how happy it makes me to watch the weather forecast and just.not.care about it? Truly, it’s been such a relief!
We have nothing planned this weekend except hanging around, maybe having some dinner out, and seeing some friends. I’m really looking forward to doing nothing.
Happy Weekend!

Sounds perfect!! Happy Weekend!
Enjoy your lack of pressure and responsibility! Have a great weekend!
You deserve to do what you want for several more weekends. Tiger Lilies remind me of my mother. They were her favorite flower and grew next to her back door.
These lilies remind me of my mother too- they were in our garden in Greece. It wasn’t until I was an adult that I learned she really didn’t like them much. I love them as they are one of the harbingers of summer for me. I have the heirloom double version in my garden. It’s called Hemerocallis fulva ‘Kwanso’. I rescued it from an old farmhouse that was being knocked down and property turned into a housing complex. They spread by runners unlike other cultivars.
Lovely!! “Tiger Lily” has me thinking Peter Pan (w/Mary Martin)… might need to watch that this weekend! Those lilies filled the ditches on my way home in the early ’80s — used to stop and pick a fresh bouquet every few days.
Sounds like a perfect weekend! Enjoy it to it’s fullest.
Enjoy your weekend! I’m sure that you are really ready for a weekend off.
