This gorgeous yellow dahlia is called La Luna. It's what is called a dinnerplate variety…
Eye Candy Friday
They are small and maybe a bit timid but the snowdrops are up! Hooray! And today is forecasted to be the warmest day we have had since last November. Bring it on!
My weekend will be spent preparing for Easter Brunch with our family, hanging out with Dale, and (hopefully) reading and knitting. Have a wonderful holiday for those of you celebrating and have a terrific weekend, everyone!

There’s a photo that makes my heart sing!!! Have a great (warm!) weekend, Carole.
enjoy the warm sunshine! and three cheers for snow drops…especially the timid ones who show their blossoms first!
Enjoy the weekend Carole! Happy Easter!
We had snowdrops in early February-so long ago. It’s nice to relive spring through your eyes. I’m looking forward to more spring flowers!
Thank you! We do Easter AND Passover, so much cooking and eating with family and friends will happen. The snowdrops are up here north of Boston, but they have appeared in a muddy, gray-brown matrix. While not photogenic, they are hopeful.
Snowdrops are so pretty–we don’t have them here. Tulips were glorious until yesterday’s snowfall and below freezing temps. Okay enough whining–have a glorious Easter weekend!
Happy Easter to you and yours!
