Last Friday while at the conference I happened to look up at just the right…
Eye Candy Friday
On New Year’s Eve, when I went to the grocery store to pick up a few last minute things I needed for a dinner party we were throwing that night, I also bought myself a bouquet of flowers. The inspiration came from my friend Beverly (you can follow her on Instagram) when she told me she always buys flowers on December 31st to remind herself to bloom in the new year. I think that’s a lovely idea so I’m sharing it with all of you.
You know what else is lovely? The first weekend of the new year! Make it a good one!

That’s a lovely New Year’s bouquet, and I bet you will!
No pressure, Weekend, but you’re setting an example for the rest of the year.
And we’ve no football game! Must be a weekend for the movies maybe? Have a great one how ever you spend it Carole!
I love this idea! I might have to steal it for next year!
Flowers are a magical! 😉 Happy weekend!
I want to get back in the habit of buying flowers for my home, especially during winter. Trader Joe’s almost always has a reasonably priced bouquet.
This week has been so weird with the holiday that seemed to be an interruption, two Mondays, and then you throw in Smith’s schedule and we never did know what day of the week it was. Guess that means it really didn’t matter because nothing HAD to be done.
oh what a lovely idea and a beautiful way to welcome the New Year. Happy Weekend!
Keeping the days straight is definitely challenging. Plus today is Mr’s birthday—yikes!
Flowers any day are wonderful — but especially so at the new year! Here’s to a blooming good year ahead, my friend. XO
What a lovely idea! I don’t buy myself flowers very often–I should remedy that.
Fun idea! Surprisingly we are still enjoying a Christmas bouquet send to us by friends!
It is a lovely idea-and the 2019 numbers are fantastic. Happy New Year.
