Tulips were on sale last week and I picked up this pretty bunch of pink…
Eye Candy Friday
Because Maine had a cool and wet spring the flora and fauna were a few weeks behind schedule when we were there. That means the lupine was still in full bloom. Lupine reminds me so much of our honeymoon and I was thrilled to see an abundance of it all along the roadways and coastline.
Enjoy this extended weekend, friends!

Lupines make me think of one of my favorite picture books, Miss Rumphius. Glad you were able to enjoy them!
Beautiful shot. Things are a bit behind here too. For us, that means fire season hasn’t really started yet. That’s a very happy thing here.
These remind me of Miss Rumphius also. Just lovely!
The lupine seem extra abundant this year. They are a favorite of mine.
I loved all the lupine we saw while in Maine. I just wish I could grow it in my garden but the bunnies eat it every time!
What a glorious picture, Carole. Thanks for sharing!
That is a wonderful photo. Lupines make me think of Miss Rumphius. Your message on the 4th (point 3) is spot on. I hope we can move forward with a more generous spirit. Lots of work ahead. And I love your videos at the end of the month. I missed the blogs while we were in Connecticut.
Gorgeous eye candy!
Lovely, Carole – like experiencing one of the best parts of spring all over again!
Lupine grows wild in northern Wisconsin… at least along the route to my grandparents’ cottage. Good memories!!
