Can you handle another hellebore photo? I hope so because that's what I'm sharing with…
Eye Candy Friday
Our summer is winding down and the flowers are, too. But I have some photos I took while on vacation that I haven’t shared with you yet and this is one of them. The people we rented the house from left this beautiful vase of hydrangeas for us and around here hydrangeas just scream Cape Cod Summer – especially if those hydrangeas happen to be blue like these.
No blues about the weekend, though, it’s all sunshine and rainbows for Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

My hydrangeas are drying and brown so it’s lovely to see fresh blue ones. Hope you make it a good weekend!
Lovely! And definitely a summery shot. Let’s get out there and weekend!
My flowers are looking tired around here as well…sigh. Those hydrangea’s are gorgeous though! Have an AWESOME weekend!
Cheers to the weekend ahead! Let’s make it a wonderful one.
My hydrangeas are also turning brown and sad (though I spotted one purple-y bundle that’s somewhat hidden). This lovely photo reminds me of when they were in full bloom earlier in the summer. Like you, when I see hydrangeas, I also think of Cape Cod and our summer vacations there when I was growing up!
So pretty! I absolutely LOVE hydrangeas!
Yep, my hydrangeas are looking poorly, but full of sad blooms. I think in my yard, they are the canary in the mine, they start looking sad first. This is a lovely arrangement. I hope you have a fabulous weekend by Carole standards.
That color is amazing!!!
Have a great weekend! I love to bring hydrangeas into the house before they turn brown. That way they dry nicely and stay pretty till the following summer when they bloom again.
