The last rose of summer. The first is full of promise of all that is…
Eye Candy Friday
I took this photo of the first daffodil (with a second barely visible behind it)in my yard about 10 days ago. Now there are about a dozen daffodils in bloom with many more about to bloom. I love seeing these bright spots of yellow dotting our front garden!
Look for the bright spots this weekend, friends!

I love Spring flowers. They are definitely bright spots after the gray of winter.
A lovely bright spot! Happy weekend Carole – enjoy!
Happy Weekend, Carole!
I can’t wait til mine bloom. So far, I don’t even have buds . . . but it can all happen really quickly once the sun comes out and it warms up even a teeny bit. (Which can’t happen soon enough, IMO.) Have a great weekend! XO
There is nothing happier than the face of a daffodil saying hello! I can’t wait to see if we have anything blooming at home.
Hooray for daffodils and forsythia! I love that yellow color in the spring, it is so hopeful. Thanks for sharing, Carole.
Very beautiful!
Beautiful daffodil! My daffodils don’t even have buds yet! It’s been cold and damp here and I can’t wait for everything to start blooming!
gorgeous, Carole – our daffodils are pretty much spent, but there are more buds and blooms taking their place. I do love watching spring unfold in all the places (and I’m glad it starts a little sooner in my place 😉 Happy Weekend!
Enjoy your bright spots – the daffodils and all the other bright spots you see this weekend!
Daffodils are such a welcome sign of spring, aren’t they? I love this time of year.
