The warm weather we had the last few weeks woke up my clematis and I found this bloom on the kitchen porch the other day. A reminder of the summer gone by and a promise of the summer yet to come is always welcome.

I think a lot of the plants are very confused about the weather these days, but a blooming clematis is never unwelcome. Enjoy!
Our clematis was hanging on strong – pink blooms amid the brown and gray. The temps have dropped to 30 though and I’m thinking we’ve seen the end of them. Happy weekend!
