Eye Candy Friday

I had a lot of dahlia tubers that I didn’t have room to plant and I offered them up to local friends. As they have come to pick them up, some have dropped off thank you gifts. Okay, two people have dropped off thank you gifts. One left a dozen fresh eggs. And one left this gorgeous bouquet of pink peonies. I didn’t expect anything in return so this has truly been a welcome and lovely development.
I hope you weekend brings you something welcome and lovely, too.

What a deep shade of pink – gorgeous!! I love that someone brought you fresh eggs too – that’s a great gift.
Those sound like lovely gifts to exchange; even a picture of the eggs would have been pretty! 🙂
It’s lovely to see that people show appreciation these days! I love peonies, but I had to dig mine up because I could not get rid of the ants. I miss that smell.
Gift economy is one of the best things ever! Have a fantastic weekend! XO
Eggs and gorgeous flowers? Those are some great friends!
Beautiful! Friday is one of my favorite blog days!
I went to the closest local nursery today and picked up three pentas (each has multi colors in one 10″ pot), two Blue Suede Shoes Salvia, and two Skyscraper Orange Salvia. I got big pots because I’m late in my neck of the woods to be planting. Last frost is ~March 13th. Plus, I want instantaneous results… 😉
Thanks for your awesome inspiration!
Beautiful! Ours haven’t bloomed yet.
