Today’s dahlia is a new one in my garden this year. It’s my first anemone style and the variety is Totally Tangerine. This is the first bloom from the plant but you can see that there are more to come and I’m excited to add this one to bouquets.

Very pretty Carole! Such a lovely shade and so different in appearance than other dahlias. It almost reminds me of a zinnia.

I love all the shades of tangerine and even pink in the petals. (And yes, it reminds me of a zinnia also.)
I love the frilliness of that center — it reminds me of coral (maybe also because of the color – haha!).
