Eye Candy Friday

It’s the time of year where flowers are popping up all over and I love it! This grape hyacinth is just outside the staff entrance to my library. There are several clusters and they bring me a lot of joy when I see them on my way in to work. It’s pretty cool that something this small can have such a big impact on my daily routine.

Keep your eyes open for little jolts of joy this weekend.

  1. One of my favorites! We gave some nestled in among the lily of the valley!

  2. I love my grape hyacinths (except the really pale, almost white ones that were a gift one year)! My deer like them, too.

  3. Even though this time of year is not great for allergies, I love seeing the little pops of color everywhere. I love seeing the grape hyacinths in the neighborhood — they always make me smile!
