Eye Candy Friday

October 30, 2009 By Carole

fall foliage king richards

Another folige picture from King Richard’s Faire. They don’t look like this any more, though. It’s amazing how the trees have lost their leaves in the last week.

We get an extra hour this weekend. What are you going to do with yours?

I love foliage in the late afternoon sun. I just might get an extra hour of sleep for once.

Sleep! Or maybe I’ll justify a knit-time in amongst the overwhelming errands.

    Gorgeous!

I have big plans for that extra hour – maybe I’ll use it for the errands I’ve been neglecting for 3 weeks??

Beautiful. I wish the wind didn’t accompany the color. It goes too quickly. Drats, my extra hour will be spent with seven fifteen year olds sleeping over. Perhaps (please God) they’ll use their extra hour to sleep!

Sleep, if WB will cooperate. It always takes her a few days to adjust to a time change.

Such pretty trees. Most of ours are looking rather bare now, too. I’ll probably knit with extra hour as you know I won’t sleep.

I love how beautiful your fall colors are and will have to get back there someday…. one of my knit night group has family near Rhinebeck and was mentioning how we should all plan a trip there one year. I’m going to knit with my extra hour! I’m teaching a Christmas stocking class starting Monday night and will be working on a snowman stocking for my granddaughter. Have a great weekend.

Beautiful colors. I have been away in Northern Michigan, enjoying the colors up there. I was lucky enough to be up there the peak weekend! Have a good weekend.

Easy answer to that one… sleep!

Beautiful colors here in Iowa, too. Unfortunately it was very rainy yesterday, and now it’s windy today, so I might not be able to get any pictures of my kiddos in the leaves!! Here’s hoping tomorrow it’s a little drier, and our yellow maple leaves haven’t all blown away! Have a great weekend. ๐Ÿ™‚

Beautiful! A lot of the leaves have dropped here too with all the rain we’ve gotten. I’m hoping for some extra sleep too ๐Ÿ˜‰

Our trees are thinking about turning, but in the meantime, they are loosing their leaves to the winds! I slept through my extra hour. Working 3 12 hour shifts in a row is almost beyond me these days.
