Eye Candy Friday

November 20, 2009 By Carole

web_Lobby Floral Arrangements Close up

The floral arrangements throughout The Mirage were spectacular and huge. Actually, that sort of sums up Vegas in general.

Have a great weekend!

I love arrangements like those! Such a huge bang of color and texture when done well.

Such a gorgeous change from the views out my window! (The drab. The bare. The brown.)

I remember a quiet little bar tucked into the center of a bunch of gorgeous flowers. It was a good place to step back and relax.

I echo Kym’s comment this morning. Those colors are a feast for the eyes. Hope it’s a terrific and relaxing weekend.

The colors of those lillies are the exact colors that I want to have in my home’s foyer. We recently painted the walls a very pale lemon yellow, and I want to introduce the tangerine and rose in accessories. I LOVE that color combo!

LOL – love the comparison of the flowers and Vegas. Another gorgeous shot! Thanks for ‘sending’ us flowers.

You know a flower arrangement is gigantic when gourds are tucked into the bottom to fill…and are dwarfed.

    Lovely Friday pic.

Those flowers took my breath away for a moment. I’m looking out at a dull November day in Northern Ontario. It’s all shades of grey here. Thanks for the reminder that there’s life and colour out there somewhere.

What a great idea to combine flowers with gourds! Thanks for sharing.
