Ten On Tuesday!

April 28, 2015 By Carole

¡Hola! ¿Cómo está usted?

I’m back from a wonderful week in Mexico. Physically, anyway. My head and my heart? They are still at the beach. I missed you guys while I was away and I’m anxious to hear what you’ve all been doing so this week’s Ten On Tuesday topic is 10 Things You Did Last Week. You kind of already know what I did but I’m going to tell you anyway. Ready? Vamos!

watercolor beach

  1. Enjoyed sunny, 88° weather every day.
  2. Laughed when I heard it was snowing at home on Friday morning.
  3. Swam in the ocean. Snorkeled in a lagoon. Snorkeled in a cenote.
  4. Went barefoot to breakfast. And dinner.
  5. Drank margaritas at Happy Hour.
  6. Relaxed on a bed. At the beach.
  7. Took a gazillion photos. They have not been processed which is why you are only getting one today.
  8. Ate incredible food including amazing tuna nachos, shrimp tacos, fish tacos, and ceviche.
  9. Saw lots of pelicans. And frigate birds.
  10. Made new friends from Colorado, Holland, Amsterdam, Sweden and Mexico.

And so much more that I will tell you about in the coming days! I hope you all had a wonderful week and I hope you will take the opportunity to fill me in on what I’ve missed. Don’t forget to add your link below and click here if you want to subscribe to the weekly Ten On Tuesday email.

¡Hasta Mañana!

Your vacation sounds (and looks) even more wonderful than I had imagined. I would love yarn dyed in the beautiful blues in that photo!

Relaxed on a bed on the beach – that’s pure heaven, margaritas or not!

Welcome back! It is too pre-coffee to say that in Espanol. You were missed.

Barefoot for dinner sounds so relaxing – as does the bed on the beach. I can’t wait to hear about the rest of your trip.

I know you had a great week away!!
Re-entry takes some time, but there’s no place like home!
    Right?? 😉

Barefoot dining–how fun! My past week (cheating by a couple of days) included a trip to Loveland for Interweave Fiber Fest. Fun way to spend a rainy day — yarn heaven!

Welcome home! I have to ask… what type of camera bag/purse do you bring on vacation? I have spent HOURS looking and can’t seem to find one that would work as a day bag/purse/camera bag. They go quickly to extreme photographer bags! I just want something for a good size camera (Canon xsi, if you must know) without extra lenses, maybe a phone, sunglesses, keys, that is good for day tripping!

So glad you had such a great time! Welcome back. And may the beach stay in your heart long after you’ve settled back into regular life. XO

Welcome Back!!! I missed you! …I know you had a ball and look forward to seeing and reading more about it over the next few weeks. (and also to learning what’s a “cenote”)
