Ten On Tuesday

Even though I’m a summer girl there are things I like about fall and one of those things is football. There’s the game, of course (Go Pats!) and then there’s the hanging out with friends and the eating good things. So for Ten On Tuesday today I want to talk about my favorite things to eat while watching football. If you’re not hungry now I bet you will be by the time you finish reading this post.

  1. Woo hoo – I’m so glad it’s football season! yay for all the good food (and for teams that are 2-0 🙂 I’m surprised how good all of that food sounds this early in the morning. Seriously, football food is the best! I’d also like to know more about your jalapeño poppers – are they baked?

  2. I don’t watch football but I do eat football food, and these sound like some of the best. I’m wishing for some baked mac and cheese for breakfast!

  3. I love football too, but the food you are talking about is just so unhealthy!!!! Please read “The China Study” by T. Colin Campbell, PhD., or “Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease” by Caldwell Esselystn, Jr., M.D. OR watch the video “Forks over Knives” (knives being a scalpel) on Netflix. The books must be in your library-if not they should be. I strongly suggest you take a look at them since I know you’re a smart person and always want to do the best for you and your lovely family. You’ll be shocked and disappointed at how we’ve all be mislead by the health industry, but also empowered by what these doctors have discovered in the power of consuming real food.

  4. Great list and perfect timing as I was just thinking about what to make for Sunday. I’m thinking chil and cornbread. Go Pats!

  5. Where’s the salami? Your list made me (like most of your readers) salivate!

P.S. I am changing the “disease” name to Blue Bum–sounds a bit classier, doesn’t it?
