Eye Candy Friday

sunset on the marsh 2015 for carole knits

I was sure I’d be sharing a photo today that I took with the big SLR. But then, when I started going through them, I saw this one of the marsh by our house. I took it with my iPhone, if you can believe it. The light was just perfect, the clouds add a bit of drama and the green of the grass makes a great contrast with the dark trees and blue water. I had to share it.

I have to say that my reentry was relatively painless this time around. Perhaps because I knew I had a long weekend coming right up? We’ve got some fun stuff planned and I’ll be back on Tuesday to tell you all about it. Have a good one, my friends.

P.S. It is nice to be home.

Beautiful! (Sometimes I’m amazed at the shots I can get with my iPhone 6.) (Much improved camera.) Have a great weekend, Carole. XO

As always, great shot. I think the quality of smart phone cameras has helped a lot of people take more pictures. Me included. Happy long weekend!

That’s a great way to ease in… I often return mid-week after a vacation for just that reason. Bonus for you is the holiday weekend!! Have a great one.

Sky and water–wonderful combination. Vacation followed by long weekend–another wonderful combination! Knowing you, I really don’t need to tell you to make the most of this weekend!
