Three On Thursday

May 17, 2018 By Carole

Let’s get random this Thursday, mmmmmkay? As in, here are 3 totally random and unconnected things bouncing around in my head right now.

  1. Hannah and Mikey have decided to postpone her graduation party due to the lousy weather forecast for this Saturday. Hannah has this vision for the day and there was just no way that vision was about to come true with 40 people crammed into their 3 room apartment. So, it’s been postponed for a couple of weeks and, even though there’s no guarantee the weather will be better, we’re going to hope for the best!
  2. The word begin is suddenly showing up all around me. First, I bought myself a set of sacred invitation cards. When they arrived I sat down with them and went through them all and checked them out. Then I turned them over and randomly chose one. The word on that card? Begin. I laughed right out loud and thought, how perfectly appropriate. So I grabbed my journal to write about the experience and when I looked at the cover of my journal my mouth dropped open because guess what it says –  “the best way to get something done is to being”. Huh. And then on Instagram yesterday my friend Heather, who posts an angel card every day, shared one that said, “a wonderful new beginning is blossoming in my life.” I think the universe is trying to tell me something!
  3. Mary is once again organizing Summer Book Bingo! I’ll be participating and probably going for a cover-all again. I’ve got my card ready although I haven’t planned any of my titles yet and I need to do that soon because I’ve found that’s really the best way to insure success. Head on over to Mary’s blog to create your own Summer Book Bingo card!

And those are my random thoughts today, hope you found them entertaining. Or something.

If you wrote a post for today please share it below and have a fabulous Thursday, friends!

My thoughts are so often random, so it’s nice to read your random! We’ve had rain for days, with more rain predicted for the next five, so Hannah’s decision sounds like a good one. I love when something sparks with us and then we take notice of it everywhere; may your beginnings be good ones!

I think begin is the best word of all! The possibilities are limitless…

And, this rain… holy crap it is not at all fabulous! Good call Hannah!!

Here’s hoping the weather improves for Hannah’s special party. I’m excited for SBB. I’m making lists and we’ll see how it goes.

Holy Moley, the rain we’ve had! The one good thing about it is that there is not a single speck of pollen left. Hope Hanna’s party is a big success when ever she has it. As for the word Begin, my word for the year is heart but begin has been popping up all around me also. Maybe I’m supposed to begin something with heart. 🙂

Hopefully, the rain will have everything growing and beautiful for Hannah’s party. And rain may be a good thing to get off an amazing start for that book card!

You have lots of new beginnings around you and in your life. The universe is in harmony with you, Carole! Beginning a new role as selectperson, grandmother, adult daughter, I bet you can think of many more than I can. May all your beginning be solid and the journeys be rich and rewarding.

That’s the only way to go forward is to “begin”. I’ve printed my bingo cards, but that’s about it!

I actually started learning about making sourdough bread a week before the stay at home orders thanks to @sprboston as he shared his starter and recipe and technique with me. Since then I have kept Mama Cass fed and alive and have baked many loaves of bread. This one might be my best one yet. I did the final proof in the fridge for 24 hours and baked it from its cold state.
